I am looking for a Business Systems Analyst. Please note the following: Job Description: A major bank located in New York City is looking for a Business Systems Analyst. The candidate Will be responsible for the following: Duties/Analysis Analyze the business processes related to automation initiatives in the Mortgage Banking, Mortgage Wareshousing And Collateral Valuation and Management arena. Identify and evaluate potential opportunities to enable the business through the use of technology Define, document and validate business requirements and review business requirements with internal/vendor Specialists and ensure understanding. Facilitate and perform analysis of actual versus estimated technology costs. Duties/Project Management Assist in defining the scope of technology and business projects Identify and communicate project expectations and objectives Assist the business in reviewing potential vendor and internally developed solutions Develop, communicate and monitor projcect plans Manage, facilitate and/or execute user acceptance testing Provide implementation assistance for IT developed and vendor applications Facilitate post-implementation reviews and documentation of "lessons learned" Identify, communicate, monitor and help resolve project issues Develop and coordinate training materials for end-users Provide the necessary level of project management and control to keep all assigned projects on schedule Duties/Business Provide the linkage between the business and technology groups through relationship management. Facilitate Communication and act as the liason between the business lines and IT Represent the business in enterprise-wide projects Assist the business prioritizing and justifying technology projects Skills Required: Education: Bachelor's degree in business or computer science preferred. MBA in business or computer science is a plus Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills Strong presentation skills with the ability to present analysis and recommendations decisions and strategies To system owners, project sponsors, advisory committees and other members of senior management Systems Analysis and Designs Process/Work Flow Design Skilled in project management techniques and one or more Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies Ability to work independently Experience: Three to five years of experience working with a mortgage warehouse, mortgage analysis or mortgage collateral application Thorough understanding of the mortgage markets and mortgage products with a technology focus Excellent quantitative skills and experience with quantitative valuation models such as MIAC, Yield Book, and QRM Participated in medium to large size cross department project team Managed phase of a small to mid-sized technology or business project Skilled in the design and development multi-tiered client/server application Familiar with the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of vendor supplied solutions Good working knowledge of Microsoft Salary Range: Low to mid 80's How To Apply: Contact Tony Savoca at Momentum Resource Solutions at asavoca@momentumrs.com and then call him At 732-738-0929.
