Our client, an instrument manufacturer, is adding a Field Service Engineer to work with their customers in gas analyzers. The person will service and trouble shoot instruments in house and on site. The position features 35% travel. There is a base salary in the $50 to 55K range, great working conditions, and co paid benefits.
To qualify a person should have the following:
· Must be a team player.
· Able to work independently.
· Must be flexible and open to daily changes.
· Previous track record in service/field service is a plus.
· Certificate or degree in a technical discipline (preferably Electro-Mechanical)
· Strong Communication skills
· Computer literate with a working knowledge of spreadsheet programs and word processor programs (Excel and Word), knowledge of database programs (ACT).
· Enjoy dealing with other people
