Requires knowledge of e-commerce tools, computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow. Assignments are received in task oriented terms. Ensures that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedules. Erroneous decisions or recommendations or failure to achieve results might cause delays in program schedules and result in the allocation of more resources. Majority of liaison is on internal basis with subordinates and supervisors at equivalent level or one level higher. Liaison normally involves specific phases of a project or operation. External contacts are infrequent and involve routine matters. 6 - 8 years of experience, with related Bachelors degree.

OVERVIEW: The "Business Analyst – IT Planning & Portfolio Management" will work as part of the Corporate Systems Group within a Fortune500 company, participating in the strategic IT planning process for a portfolio of 130+ financial, tax, treasury, legal, audit, compliance, security, and facilities systems.
The successful candidate must quickly develop a broad understanding of various initiatives, its leadership, needs, gaps, and priorities in order to contribute to a life-cycle analysis of these systems and help create business cases and road maps.
The position involves constant interaction with the user group and the vendor base, and an appropriate understanding of the application release management and infrastructure landscape.
