Our client, one of the largest banks in the US with wealth management, investment banking, and international business, is seeking a Mainframe Developer.
Location: New York, NY
Type of Position: Contract
Strong Cobol coder with heavy experience in DB2, CICS, and MQ. Must have extremely strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with the clients on requirements, testing and training. Should be a self starter who can work with minimal guidance. Corporate Action experience a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
Analysis
Design
Coding
Testing
Client communication/coordination
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in application development
Strong knowledge of Cobol, DB2, CICS, MQ and all Mainframe technologies
Must have extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work with others and lead up small efforts
Corporate Action experience a major plus
Web experience a plus
