This position is ideal for someone with expert level experience working with Python and strong C# development skills.

Prior expereince in the financial securities is a not required. You will learn about the pricing applications and custom risk for

Exotic Commodity Derivatives. There will be a technical test prior to submission - candidates should be able to answer basic technical questions about Python, C# and SQL

SKILLS:

Required Skills: · · Python experience required Ideally should have an understanding of financial derivatives, commodities preferred · Strong skills in the following languages: Excel/VBA and, C# · SQL skills with skills in PL/SQL programming. Having experience in Oracle or Sybase database. · Posses strong background in Object Oriented design and development Desired Skills: · Experience working with market / reference data systems desirable. · Experience performing source code control using CVS, Clear Case and related tools · Developing applications in Windows server environments Personal Skills: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills in dealing with front office, modeling and IT groups · Must be a self-starter and be able to operate independently within a team distributed globally · Highly analytical, pro-active and detail oriented · Shows interest in professional development

WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROU ND (Please list industry background that would be "a plus" for the applicant to have.)

2+ Years of IT Experience

Financial Derivatives Trading or Financial Services Experience a plus

EDUCATION/CERTIFICA TION: (Please list of Degrees and certifications that the applicant will need if any.)
