Director, Business Intelligence Experienced Information Technology Business Solutions United States New York New York 10112-0002 None NBCU's Director of Business Intelligence is looking for an individual who will be responsible for overall project delivery and on-going support of our Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. · Collaborate with business management in setting the technology direction and objectives; prioritizing business needs and formulating plans to deliver on those commitments. · Establish a close partnership with key internal clients and other IT application teams to provide data strategy expertise ensuring overall data quality within our services. · Participate in requirements gathering, data analysis and modeling; work with IT partners to design and implement BI solutions and tools. · Manage the design and development of portals, dashboards, ad-hoc and standard reporting related to functional business groups supported by the team. · Determine and lead integration with existing systems; work with business and IT to gather required data from multiple systems and platforms. · Lead a development team of onsite and offshore resources and manage tasks thru the team's Shared Support organization. · Coordinate system, user and stress testing; create controls to monitor performance for ongoing model optimization. · Minimum 10 Years experience with Developing and Implementing Business Intelligence Strategies · Minimum 10 years experience with Data Warehouse Principals and Analytical Tools such as Teradata, Oracle, Business Objects, Cognos, Microstrategy, Applix TM1, Vignette, Adobe Flex · 5 Years experience of demonstrated strength in project management of technology solutions · Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating with all levels of leadership · Demonstrated effectiveness using Change Management Skills · Minimum 3 years experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment · Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered (note job#: 1149407). · Willingness to travel (Add % of time if appropriate) and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice. · Must be willing to work in New York. · Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation. · Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work.
