Job Description A major Foreign Bank Holding Company is looking for a Core Java Server Side Developer in their New York office.
Main Function
The prospective candidate will be working on both the front-end and server-side for an application that provides pre-trade Analysis and trade capture for sales and trading within Rates.
The role will require the following competencies: Core Java Java Swing XML Spring Design Patterns UI Design Java Server-Side Experience (including messaging)
Business knowledge, although not mandatory is a plus particularly in the following areas: Rates (Swaps and Options) Bonds
Skills Required Work in a fast pace environment where we deliver functionality to the businesses you will support
Developing the front and back-end of the application. Both tiers are done in Java, therefore the application is required to Know Java Swing for the front-end and a good working knowledge of Java on the server-side (JMS and messaging technologies (Tibco/Talarian)
Providing support for production issues
Peer Testing of deliverables
Person Requirements – Degree in numerate discipling
Salary Range This is a Temporary position and the rate is based on experience.
