Apps Dev Sr. Group Manager: The Technology group is responsible for managing a suite of systems in support of the Global Transaction Services business.
Technical/business knowledge, experience, and skills (certifications, programming languages, etc.):
10 to 15 years in financial services industry; prior experience in payments and credit cards processing a definite plus.
Extensive experience managing large, enterprise-scale systems
Hands-on experience developing web applications using state-of-the-art technologies, including application servers, relational databases and messaging middleware
Non-technical knowledge, experience, and skills (leadership, management, oral and/or written communication, etc.):
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Ability to manage a large team of technologists working concurrently on multiple, diverse deliverables; ability to influence and motivate a team
Ability to communicate effectively with and influence technical as well as non-technical partners, including senior business managers
