Required Skills:

QA Tester - very strong DB2 & comm skills with individuals that can lead & work directly with business. Individuals who have utilized XML & worked with middleware teams needed.

STRONG DB2, Demonstrated / STRONG complex problem solving exp, BS,

Must have System Test exp & have know of the SDLC, Strong Mainframe exp

XML (should have worked with XML & be able to modify the XML parameters inorder to debug an issue)

QC, QTP, Sharepoint (should have used it)

EXC Comm Skills & written skills

Telecom background is a big plus.

Assignment Description:

Tests, analyzes, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps and fixes
- EXCELLENT Communication Skills Verbal and Written
- STRONG Problem Solving Skills
- Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality
- Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and selection of software solutions
- Perform project management of estimating, scheduling, and monitoring tasks
- Performs expert-level engineering tasks associated with the analysis, design, and development of computer hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and/or operating systems
- Experienced in the Implementation of SOA Techniques
- Interface with different departments within the organization regarding new deployments
- Research/analyze data processing functions, methods and procedures
- Monitor program execution for expected performance
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- 8+ years experience with COBOL / DB2 / CICS
Knowledge and experience in performance
