Candidate must have RS6000 Unix and Linux system operations and monitoring experience of at least 1-2 years
Knowledge of local area networking
Must have experience as UNIX (RS6000) Administrator
Knowledge of RS6000 security and high availability RS6000 is a must
PTFs, Microcode, RS/6000 and AIX/SP, high availability cluster multi-processing
AIX, P-Series operation & administration/security
Microsoft Office Products
Creation supporting KPI documents
Local & remote Printer configuring on RS6000
Backup & restore of data in an operation environment
Experienced in disaster recovery testing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
RS6000 LPAR configuration experience
DOS, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP
multi operating system environment, SAS or Oracle Application experience is a plus
