Position: Global Asset Manager Position Available

Firm located in the Morris Plains NJ area is currently seeking experienced Global Asset Manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

· Obtaining an adequate financial return from the assigned business lines.

· All operational products related to all markets the product line is sold to (Coating, Plastics, Printing, Cosmetics, Specialties) .

· Providing leadership and business direction as documented in the strategy/business budget.

· Monitoring share development, sales volume and profitability making necessary adjustment as needed.

· Priority development for current and/or future sales of products.

· Support the long term strategy for Effect Pigments.

· Support the following assets: Peekskill, North Charleston, Hartwell, Newport & SmithsFalls.

· Manages global product portfolio and changes in standards, packaging and specifications.

· Manages the assets for development of capacity plans and management of capacity utilization, toll manufacturing needs, alliances, potential site closures, etc.

· Development of global annual plan per product line.

· Defines minimum margin return for product line and establishes floor pricing for each product.

· Defines minimum return per asset.

· Monitors on a global basis regional price to ensure consistency.

· Provides input for planning of global material flows, volume and price trends.

· Global allocation of products (quota process) for region.

· Support and provide input for S&OP, price trends, inventory targets, safety stock, forecasting, market dynamics & intelligence, new ideas for new products, etc.

· Defines and maintains floor pricing for effect pigments globally

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other technical discipline required. MBA a plus.

· Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Manufacturing or Product Management

· Manage various project as they come available to improve business processes, reduce complexity, cost saving, etc.

· Support the North America Strategy 2020 and the Global Pigments Strategy 2020.

· German proficiency a plus.

Compensation : 100K - $125K w/additional bonuses
