Senior .Net Developer

Weichert Relocation Resource Inc. in Morris Plains, NJ is hiring a Senior.Net Developer/Architect for their corporate office. This position, reporting directly to the Manger, Information Technology, is ideal for someone with a proven track record of successful architecting, design, and development of mission-critical software.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leading the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of ASP.NET Web Applications (and possibly some WPF and/or WinForms based applications)
Designing applications targeting SQL Server databases

The candidate must be proficient in:

N-Tier development according to industry standard/best practice methodologies
Unified Process software development process
Object oriented analysis & design
C# 2.0/3.5 language features and API (familiarity with VB.NET is a plus).
Documentation/modeling of software, processes, and systems using UML

Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:
· 8+ years of development experience on Microsoft Windows platform
· 3+ years with .NET development, specifically C#, and experience with both ASP.NET Web Applications and WPF/WinForms
· 5+ years with SQL Serve
· LINQ, ADO.NET, XML, XQuery, Web Services, solid object oriented design and programming experience
· Proficient client-side Web development skills (HTML, scripting, AJAX)

Other beneficial skills:

· Infragistics Control Usage a plus
· Some experience with SQL Server 2005
· SQL Server Business Intelligence (BI) knowledge
· Analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communications skills
· Project management skills
· .NET and/or SQL Server certifications preferred
· Experience working with vendors and third party/contract developers.
