IT Help Wanted: [itroundtable] LEAD: Sharepoint Ldr - CT

Compensation: Total cash compensation of 100K-125K, with 90% base and 10% bonus. Benefits include medical/dental, 401K with company match, profit sharing, 2 week vacation, etc

this position is a full time position - no 3rd parties, no h1's - candidates local to the Stamford, CT area with U.S. citizenship, Green Card or EAD visa status.

Goal: This position is responsible for all Sharepoint initiatives of the organization from a development and maintenance perspective. This person will lead the efforts to integrate Sharepoint into day-to-day activities of the entire user community comprising front, middle and back office. The position reports to the head of the IT department.

Skill Set:

1. MOSS 2007, Excel Services, Sharepoint Workflows, Business Data Catalogs;

2. Basic web skills e.g. HTML and CSS, architecting and creating corporate intranets/extranets, experience with client side java scriptin (e.g. jquery);

3. Custom web parts development using C#3.net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Windows Workflow foundation, SQL Server and Oracle connectivity;

4. Ability to guide brand new development with brand new technology;

5. Ability to solve real world problems;

6. Integrate complex data sources from diverse database platforms;

7. Sharepoint farm administration experience;

8. Independently troubleshoot and research challenging Sharepoint problems; and

9. Ability to work with end users, manage requirements and expectations to deliver working solutions.

Experience:

1. Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with the above technologies;

2. Exposure to trading company is preferred, but not required;
