Service Delivery role provides business specific support services to users. The person holding this role is someone who regularly interfaces with business customers in order to deliver IT related support or services.
Major Role Responsibilities: • Drives service delivery cost reductions while maintaining/improving service delivery; • Builds strong relationships with clients to provide support and understand their support requirements; • Troubleshoots performance problems and maintaining security configurations; • Tracks and resolves user issues; • Oversees the installation and configuration of application software, both off-the-shelf and developed in-house; • Executes service management processes at a site or group of sites; • Reports on service levels and spending; • Tracks and manages spending on support against agreed support budgets; and • Drives service delivery cost reductions while maintaining/improving service delivery; • Ensures service requests and service level commitments are met. • Deskside Support Analyst – provides IT support to all levels of customers including senior executives in a large corporation. Updates problem-tracking records, troubleshoots hardware and software issues on all systems, installs and configures new equipment
