We are looking for a Controller in our Burlington, MA office. If you know
anyone that may be interested, please share this with them and/or let me
know. Unfortunately, we are not able to use agencies at this time.

Controller Position
The Controller will be responsible for all aspects of Collaborative' s
accounting and finance functions, as well as involved in strategic analysis
and planning. This is an excellent opportunity to assume a critical role in
a successful professional services company. This is a unique position
reporting to the CEO that requires hands on responsibility for daily
accounting activities as well as strategic level planning and forecasting.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leader and manager with solid mentoring skills
• Critical thinking skills and a team oriented attitude a must
• Hands on experience with day-to-day accounting operations
• Experience with HR and Legal
• Proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks, Experience with OpenAir preferred
• Experience with forecasting and budgeting
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience in a professional services and/or technology oriented company
is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Monthly financial close and board book preparation
• Weekly forecasting of expenses with VP of Operations
• Collections
• Finalizing the budgets
• Managing the Sales operations process from a financial perspective- making
sure we're getting contracts and SOWs, help unravel the billing and
timesheet errors that result from inaccurate or incomplete project set up
information
• Daily bank reconciliation
• Managing accounting team
• Payroll general ledger upload and 401K funding and accounting
• Misc projects as needed
