Position: VP Technology Project Manager – Global Equities
Industry: Financial Services
Location: New York City
Base Salary: 150K plus bonus and benefits
A midsized Financial Services company with offices in Midtown NY and Jersey City is looking for a Senior Project Manager at a VP level with Equities Technology experience. you should have the ability to manage large scale system deployments in mission critical situations. You should also have utilized structured project management methods and led re-engineering teams using Six Sigma/change management. This is a global role coordinating teams across US/UK/Asia. You will work with the PMO to establish portfolio and team governance structure. You will also assist in the development of new Project Management Office processes and guidelines.
Skills:
* 10+ years experience preferred
* Experience working in a Global PMO structure
* Solid experience and understanding of the Equities business
* PMP and Six Sigma Certifications are strongly desired
* Specific experience in implementing large technology projects in a financial corporation
* Change Management experience with a focus on consulting for process improvement.
* Experience managing a processing operation or implementation team.
* Strong analytical skills

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• BA/BS with 10+ years experience preferred
