DAX Technologies is an exciting software startup, providing innovative solutions for the telecommunications industry. The position is located in Matawan NJ at the company's headquarters.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Software development for the server side of the applications

· Support for the full lifecycle of the software products

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum 3 years experience

· Unix/Linux Operating Systems

o  shell scripts (sh, ksh, bash, perl)
o  monitoring (cpu, disk, errors, processes, system limits, security)
o  filesystems
o  processes, threads, signals, IPC

· Java

o  JDBC
o  J2EE
o  Servlet Containers, JSP
o  Java Script
o  maven, ant

· Oracle/SQL Programming

o  SQL queries, PL/SQL knowledge
o  query optimizations, query plans
o  experience with AWM, ADDM

· Network

o TCP/IP, routing, interface configuration, DNS,firewall, proxy, remote access
o web servers (apache, tomcat)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to multitask

· Good communications skills

· Self-starter

· Independent thinker, but good team player

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:

· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering,Computer Science, or related field
