Title: AVP-Software Development Manager Type: Full Time Industry: Financial Services Location: New York City – open to EAD/GC/US Citizen local area Pay: to 160Kbase plus bonus and benefits
In this role you will oversee the development of all GCS's software platforms. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of software projects, and the definition and implementation of a long term software development roadmap. You have proven experience managing complex software development projects and globally distributed teams.
· Oversee redevelopment of Global Corporate Solutions platforms
· Manage team of software development teams in US and Europe , setting technical direction and code quality standards
· Interact regularly with business and senior management to communicate project status
· 8+ years of development and 6+ years development management experience
· Substantial experience managing design and development of enterprise-class web applications
· Expert knowledge of web development architectures, development methodologies, and emerging trends; strong knowledge of .NET/SQL platform and tools
· Strong knowledge of security technologies and secure development/design
· Experience managing and working with distributed/global teams
· Knowledge of financial/trading industry a strong plus
