Job Description A major Bank Holding Company located in New York City is looking for a Money Markets Support Person. The company needs a production/app support person with strong windows background. The candidate Will provide front line application support for a Global trading system and analytics system.
Responsibilities:
Respond, analysis and resolution to user support calls (hot line and Support e-mails) and IT System problems (automatic system Remedy tickets)
Debug, fix and resume batch processing problems.
Management of system configuration.
Resolve static data problems.
Respond to user queries and data requests efficiently.
Respond, investigate and resolve system performance problems.
Development and maintenance of Application Management processes (such as Capacity Management Planning And Business Continuity Management).
The candidate must have technical skills in SQL, MS Windows and Scripting.
Weekend support – Ensuring weekend batches and automated tickets are managed prior to SOD Asia Monday. This Would require Saturday and Sunday availability with the frequency of this being 1 in ever 8 weeks.
Ad hoc weekend work may be due to testing, disaster recovery and implementations.
Skills Required 3+ years SQL skills (including Stored Procedures, Triggers, Profiling, Query Plan Analysis, etc). Ideally with Sybase And/or MS SQL Server.

Preferred Qualifications
Interaction with Traders
Systems/Application (not desktop or NT/Unix system admin) 1st and 2nd Support at an Investment Bank.
Support of Front office Systems/Applications
Ownership of problems/incidents
Successful implementation of remedial changes
Successful analysis of complex IT and business issues.
Self prioritization of multiply critical issues.
Knowledge of Investment Banking Products at a Trade and Cash flow level (e.g. Commercial Paper, CDs, Cash Loans/Deposits).
Salary Range This is a full time position for an Assistant Vice President and the salary is based on experience.
