The QA Analyst is responsible for developing and executing the system and
integration test plans and test cases to ensure the delivered solution meets
project requirements and handles data in a predictable, error-free manner. The
QA Analyst should have experience with testing complex enterprise software
solutions and using Quality Center.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Creates all test materials for automation including developing, maintaining, and
implementing test cases and all required test data
Understands and defines all test cases to satisfy each business requirement for
the application being tested.
Documents, updates and organizes all testing materials according to defined
procedures.
Developing an integration test plan to ensure end-to-end testing
Developing a regression test plan and suite of test cases.
Developing a user acceptance test plan to ensure adequate coverage of end user
business requirements
Writing test scripts or ensuring that scripts are written by the appropriate
developers
Tracks and resolves issues identified in testing
Clearly communicates status and defined metrics around testing efforts
Position Requirements:
Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
Experience with Quality Center is required
Experience with QTP
Proven experience in test automation
Experience working with SQL Server
Solid knowledge of current Testing/QA methodologies, best practices, and
toolsets
Experience writing and executing test plans
Experience tracking and resolving issues encountered in testing
In-depth understanding of the requirements (use cases, workflows, business
rules, etc)
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
