Job Description A major Bank Holding Company located in New York City is looking for a Java Developer.
Job Responsibilities:
Implementation of features, but fixes and enhancements within the low latency trading system and the supporting components.
Work closely with QPS business to gather requirements, design and implement new functionality and features as requested By clients of the system.
Contribute in optimizing the performance, capacity, monitoring and maintenance model of the current platform.
Participate in the ongoing innovation and design of the next generation platform.
Collaborate with teams in Europe and Asia to maintain a global offering consistent with regional business requirements and Standards.
Work closely with other Connectivity teams.
Skills Required Bachelors Degree
5+ years of professional Core Java development experience.
C++ candidates with some Java experience will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of massaging and middleware framework a big plus.
Professional experience working on Unix/Linux.
Experience with C, perl, embedded programming a good plus
Prior experience in with high-frequency, low-latency systems required.
Salary Range This is a full time Vice President position and the salary is based on experience.
