Job Description A major Insurance Company with an office in Somerset, New Jersey is looking for a .NET Developer. The candidate will be Working on a team that will be part of the USB IT Team working on a rewrite of a large .NET application.
Responsibilities:
Designs and codes programs, creates transactions and runs test; revises as necessary.
Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
Reviews, analyzes and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large Scale system.
Maintains records to document program development and revisions.
Conduct analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
Provides technical support to technical vendor resources.
Candidates will follow the full systems development lifecycles (SDLC) and MetLife's change management process.
The ideal candidate will need to have strong technical, analytical and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will need to have strong technical, analytical problems and drive business and IT teams to resolution.
Mentor more junior staff.
Reviews work products from team and vendor consultants.
May act as program/technical lead on multi-project activities.
Provides technical and analytical support and guidance to project team members.
Skills Required 8+ years of software development experience
5+ years of .NET Development experience.
2+ years of Oracle experience.
Expertise on Visual Studio 2010, .NET 4 and MVC 3
Expertise in using Domain/Entity Models and OR/M tools such as NHibernate or Microsoft Entity Framework
Exposure to Windows Communication Foundation and Enterprise Libraries is desirable
Salary Range This is a temporary position which will pay up to $60 an hour Corp to Corp and less for W-2.
