Job Description A major Bank Holding Company located in New York City is looking Order Management Business Analyst Equities.
Responsibilities:
All aspects of business analysis including gap analysis, end-state design, requirements gathering, scope management, Testing and deployment support
Ensuring solutions that are designed align with the strategic direction of the group
Creation of quality functional specifications and working with the developers in the creation of the technical specs
Development requirements and the use cases to support quality assurance and user acceptance testing
Acquire and provide subject matter expertise
Skills Required Education: Bachelors Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or Finance
3+ years experience working with traders, sales and operations functions
3+ years experience supporting trading floor initiatives as a BA/PM
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of sellside Order/Execution Management Systems working at a consulting firm, vendor application manager Or a bulge bracket investment Bank
Knowledge of North American and international equities trading and settlement processes
Full Business Analysis development lifecycle experience, working with IT with proven delivery record and an ability To work in a demanding environment. Experience of global project deliveries.
Capable of producing functional specifications that drive change cross functional plans.
Strong written, verbal, reasoning, analytical and inter-personals skills.
Experience with MS Visio, Project Excel, Word, SharePoint as well as testing (e.g. Quality Center) and knowledge Sharing tools (e.g. Confluent wiki)
Experience with Process Modeling, Use Case Modeling and Logical Data Modeling
Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a very dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities
Clear written and verbal communication skills, appropriate to a given audience (technical, functional, etc.)
Salary Range This is a full time position for a Business Analyst and the salary will be based on experience.
