Overview Our client is seeking a Product Support Lead with proven deployment, troubleshooting and coordination skills in supporting mission critical Internet based applications. The individual will work as part of a team which supports complex Internet based applications in QA as well as in Production environments whether in our data centers or a SaaS cloud. The candidate must be flexible, results oriented and successful in dealing with outsourcing vendors as well as internal and external customers.
Responsibilities in a nutshell:
The ideal candidate will have: 1) Sound technical knowledge of IT technologies and processes 2) Experience in supporting web based products 3) Excellent coordination, communication and project management skills 4) Ability to perform under pressure 5) Thorough understanding of Monitoring tools such as Keynote, SCOM, Opnet etc
Required Skills and Qualifications · Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience · Experience in deployment and support of enterprise level web based applications · Experience with TCP/IP and network troubleshooting · Knowledge of Load Balancers, Firewalls functioning · Experience with SQL and basic knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle Databases. · Experience with scripting languages for job automation · Knowledge of Testing processes and Development languages. · Experience with version control systems and defect tracking systems. · Experience with Project management · ITIL certification is a definite plus
