Job Duties
* Provide both functional and technical support of enterprise-classes, "n-tier" Commodities Trading Software products (that are integrated into SAP) to a large multinational global commodities trader.
* Lease with customer personnel and internal development teams to troubleshoot software, hardware, or system configuration problems and identity and provide solutions.
* Own the management of list of issues that are reported by the client, and provide clear, and timely reporting on the status of investigation and resolution of those issues.
* Document client support issues via call tracking software.
Qualifications
* BBA/BS/BA in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Liberal Arts combined with technical experience/certification and a business background or a BS in CS/MIS/Engineering or equivalent
* Solid experience in a similar support engineer or analyst role at an enterprise software vendor (or end user of enterprise software) is STRONGLY preferred.
* Business experience in the commodities/derivatives trading industry also preferred, but not required
* Understanding and experience in JAVA, J2EE, JMS, Multi-threading, WedServices
* Experience in software integration projects
* Strong knowledge/experience with databases
* Good communication skills
* Knowledge of NetWeaver/PI/ABAP experience is a plus
* Computer software troubleshooting/analytic skills
* Strong system administration functions
* Organization and excellent analysis/problem solving skills required
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and work well in a team environment
L2 Technical Support Analyst

* 1-2 years experience in Java

* Good communication skills
