Summary/Responsibilities:
Broker/dealer focused on fixed-income portfolio management and bond
underwriting seeks a junior candidate with 1-3 years of industry experience
to work as a Financial & Operations Associate Account Registry & New
Accounts Check/Wire initiation and approval Firm margin review
Requirements:
College Degree required
1-3 years of experience at a broker/dealer or investment advisor, ideally in
an Operations or Accounting role Basic knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC)
requirements/rules Basic knowledge of fixed income trade reporting (TRACE &
RTRS) Basic understanding of GAAP accounting/financial reporting Familiarity
with the aspects of municipal bonds preferred Strong communications and
organizational skills required FINRA Registration preferred but not required
Prior experience with Pershing preferred but not required
