Business Analyst II 
  Job Description
  John Wiley & Sons Corporate Headquarters, located in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a Business Analyst II in our Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Group. This opportunity is within our new Global Technology Solutions division at Wiley. 
  
  Responsibilities: 
  
  Assist in configuration, deployment and active management execution of formal Requirements Management discipline on specific projects and/or software delivery initiatives 
  Work with business stakeholders to elicit and capture their software requirements to indorse accurate reflection 
  Ensure traceability is established and consistently managed amongst different requirements/requirements types on individual software delivery projects 
  Actively manage deployment of use case driven software delivery "best practices" on in-flight projects 
  Participate in life-cycle "toll gates" to ensure quality and completeness of project requirements artifacts 
  Work with Project Managers and other project stakeholders (Users, Architect,  Development Lead, etc.) to prioritize and sequence requirements 
  Work with Project Managers and SQA  Process and Tools colleagues to ensure adherence to process and tools usage models for Requirements Management on individual projects

  Desired Skills & Experience
  Position Requirements: 
  
  5+ years of experience with a BS in Computer Science or related field 
  Demonstrable skills and practical experience with iterative and incremental software delivery methodologies, such as RUP and Agile 
  Mastery of use case driven requirements management, including experience creating use case realizations (e.g. wireframes, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams) 
  Practical experience implementing Requirements Management "best practices" 
  Hands-on experience with Rational Requisite Pro, Rational Requirements Composer or other formal Requirements Management Platform tools 
  Experience with UML 
  Understanding of how to establish/capture requirements metrics 
  Ability to work on multiple small to mid-size projects concurrently with minimal supervision 
  Excellent facilitation skills 
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
