DD_LA_PA_06252013 Linux Admin – Level-3 Support

Position: Linux Admin – Level-3 Support

Location: WestPoint, PA

Job Type: Fulltime / CTH (6 months CTH)

Job Description:

Installation/Upgrade & Configuration of Servers – Network Configuration, Firmware Install, OS Install, Filesystem Configuration.
User Admin on UNIX servers
Jumpstart Environment Management – Develop Standards & Policies, Set Images, develop/Maintain scripts.
Patch implementation & maintenance, Licensing, Boot Prom Management and Performance Management.
Service Management – NIS/NIS+/DNS/NFS/Samba/Send Mail, Capacity Planning.
Security Administration – Add/remove/Troubleshoot Security Policies.
Tools Administration – Agent Installation
Device Management – Installing & Configuring devices.
Syslog & Log management
Documentation – Systems/tool/Service management documents update.
Process related activities, Scripts Maintenance.
This role also needs the person to perform Webmaster / Admin Activities on Apache / Tomcat or any other Webservers.
Knowledge of Remedy ticketing will be a plus

DD_LA_NJ_06252013 VMware Admin – Level-3 Support

Position: VMware Admin – Level-3 Support

Location: Charlotte, NC / Branchburg, NJ

Job Type: Fulltime / CTH (6 months CTH)

Job description:

Minimum 8 years of Windows / VMware Administration experience with 6 years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment (at least 500+ Servers)
At least 6 years' experience in VMware
Installing, configuring and maintaining Win2K, Win2K3 and Win2K8 Servers.
Working experience of on Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of MSCS.
Experience on Installation, configuration of Red Hat Linux and managing server using command lines.
Advance Level knowledge of Switching and VLAN, NIC Teaming, Security policies.
Working experience on Upgradation of ESX server from 2.x and 3.x to 3.5/4.0
Troubleshooting experience on ESX servers using Command Line is must.
Working experience on VMware Consolidated Backup, Update Manager, Enterprise Converter.
Design & Implementation of Active Directory would be an added advantage
VMware ESX Management, Patching and Troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting Hardware, OS & AD related issues
Experience in at least one backup tool – BackupExec /Netbackup /Arcserve/ Legato
Experience in working with FC SAN is essential. Added advantage knowledge on ISCSI, NAS.
Should have good communication and customer interaction skills.
Must have aptitude and attitude to learn / work on new technologies.
MCSA / MCSE or MCITP is a must. In addition, he should be a VCP as well.
