| The Earle Companies Human Resources/Operators/Quality Control Technician Multiple Positions (scroll below) HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT The Earle Companies are currently seeking an experienced HR Assistant to assist a busy HR Department. Candidate will be a self starter who thinks outside the box, is detail oriented and very organized. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Process new hires and terminations. Explain all benefit coverages.
Processes benefit enrollments and terminations
Must be a self starter who thinks outside the box and must be detail oriented and very organized.
Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains books
Submits background checks
Reconciles benefit statements for monthly billing
Processes changes for hourly employees (i.e. address, phone, email, etc.)
Possess the ability to work under pressure without supervision
Prepare and track FMLA/Medical Leave paperwork
Process Disability Claims and follow up as necessary
Maintains employee files
Monitor DOT files and run DMV Checks
Assist department with the implementation of strategic HR programs such Annual Start Up Meeting, Wellness Initiatives
Participates in developing human resource goals, objectives, and systems.
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Experience with HRIS
Successful candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality, be a proactive team player, and have excellent follow through. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Relations or related field is required as well as previous HR experience.
