Job Title: Project Manager

Required skills/knowledge

· Manage, and track the program progress against the program plan.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related issues and resolution of issues.

· Develop the detailed program plan for the enhancement or development effort through the creation of Vision and Scope and requirements documentation.

· Responsible for the development of estimates for the enhancement or development effort in planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.

· Coordinate and present proposals to agencies and executive management as necessary.

· Participate in the review of COTS applications as they apply to departments internal applications

· Identify and manage program risk and develops risk mitigation strategies, track to closure.

· Responsible for project compliance with standards and procedures.

· Communicate to team members how their work assignments relate to and help achieve program objectives.

· Prepares status reports on a periodic basis for program team, team leads, group leads, and program manager and appropriate stakeholders.

· Communicate and work with users and client as necessary.

· Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple work efforts across application teams.

· Help plan program specific training and orientation needs for program user staff

· Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple work efforts across divisions and other state agency

Position Overview:

The Senior IT/IS Auditor conducts audits of Company operations to identify opportunities where internal controls can be cost effectively enhanced. They work as part of a team managing their own work while taking direction from the team lead and manager.

You will:

Conduct in-person interviews with personnel at all levels of the organization in order to construct process maps/narratives of the individual business processes.
Inspect overall internal control processes to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of processes, procedures, and internal control systems.
Document audit results (e.g., written narratives, spreadsheets to test results, completed work programs) in order to justify and support results, and provide guidance for future audits of that area.
Write draft audit comment that summarizes audit findings and recommendations and discuss the validity of the comment with the responsible employee.
Participate in status meetings to discuss preliminary audit findings and recommendations.
Participate in client Final Results/Closing Meetings to discuss the audit report

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree
At least 3-4 years of related work experience

Technical Knowledge:

SAP preferred along with prior IT operational background
Ideally ACL and SAP Extraction Software. Knowledge of how to use ACL and SAP Computer software packages in order to extract necessary data to perform data analyses

Position Description
Leads Application Architecture Development & Review projects. Collaborates with Business Clients, Business Relationship Management and other architecture domains(Data, Services and Technical) to deliver baseline, future state, architecture roadmaps and other required deliverables. Position Requirements
7-10 yrs experience architecting complex business application across multiple business domains in a mid size to large business, 5-10 yrs application development experience, 10-12 years overall IT experience. Minimum of a B.S. degree in IM, M.S. IM or MBA desired. Experience with the following frameworks is a must: TOGAF, Zachman Framework and SDLC/PMF. Experience developing Enterprise Portal Strategies and/or BioPharma Supply Chain Architectures a major plus. Experience with MS SharePoint and SAP also a plus.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required with the ability to effectively engage executives and architecture domains on a broad range of business strategy and technology topics. Must adapt engagement approach based audience and project requirements. knowledgeable in the development and coding of systematic strategies, cognizant of the markets and the marketplaces, and can communicate with traders, translating their language and needs into computerized trading systems.

This person will have a PhD in a quantitative area, 3-6 years experience (definitely not a 20 year quant) preferably in a relevant area (fx, futures, commodities, exchange traded securities of almost any type that has been and can be commoditized)

This person will want to be involved in a start-up fund and will have a track record of developing some strategies that have been implemented and can show a track record.

Technology is pretty open: they don't have anything so they prefer a person who isn't biased about working on something and want to help them architect their development environment. There is a preference for knowledge of open source technologies for the development platforms.

At a minimum this person will have some serious coding skills in an object oriented language such as c++ or java, a strong math or statistics background with some knowledge of the development tools (matlab, s+, sas, etc) and the ability to develop models in excel before hard coding them.

Dollars are dependent on the person but are 6 figures + bonus + profit sharing.

Position is full-time, permanent and on-site in Manhattan
