I am conducting an executive search for a client organization – a growing
southern New England (Massachusetts) commercial/aerospace fastener distributor
that has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Quality – preferably with
large commercial and defense/aerospace prime OEM experience.

This individual will:
Maintain ISO 9001:2008 and AS9120 certifications
Implement aerospace fastener standards, such as QSLD, ASQR, and various specific
quality requirements

Work with end-users, manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors
Oversee Kaizen and Lean programs
Contribute to policy deployment initiative
Identify and solve quality deficiencies and implement necessary measures to
ensure continuous quality improvement


Candidates must have:
Bachelor's degree in applied science, engineering or a related field
Thorough understanding of military/aerospace standards such as MS, NAS, AN NA,
AS, and NSA

Five years minimum experience in quality assurance for a manufacturer or
distributor

Willingness to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes
History of personal and professional development
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
A high level of energy and self-initiative
A demonstrated track record of driving for results and achieving positive
outcomes

Major health system in NYC has an immediate need for an Execution PM for their current Active Directory Migration. This position is responsible for the execution and post support of this project.

The Project Manager plans, manages and coordinates project activities to ensure goals and objectives of a mid-sized project, or multiple phases of a large project are accomplished within the specified time-frame and funding parameters. This position includes supporting the current Active Directory Migration project (gathering, defining and documenting requirements, tasks and budgets) and their execution (running and managing of the projects) as well as post migration support.

Responsibilities include:

Reviews project plan to determine time-frame, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements and allotment of resources to various phases of the project.
Establishes work plan and staffing for each project phase and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project staff.
Confers with project staff to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.
Manages activities of project staff to ensure project progress is on schedule and within budget.
Reviews status reports and modifies schedules and/or plans as required.
Prepares and presents project reports for management, clients or others.
Confers with project staff to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
Coordinates project activities with organizations or agencies outside the health system.
Tracks actual performance against planned project performance, analyzes variances, and work with project team to ensure all customer needs are met while maintaining control of the project.

Qualifications:

Program Management Institute (PMI) Certification, preferred.
Project management, communication, presentation, relationship building and strategic planning and implementation skills, required.
Experience with MS Project and Excel required.

Execution PM
• Work with the Wintel team to validate the accuracy of each migration event's data
• Coordinate the migration time-line for department groupings within a migration event
• Ensure SME resources are allocated and scheduled for the migration event
• Monitor and report on migration progress
• Escalate issues as they arise
• Handle 2 to 3 migrations per week
