The Information Technology department at my client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join the team. The prospective candidate shall be well versed in financial systems, manufacturing operations, sales and marketing processes, and business intelligence/reporting toolsets. The ability to analyze business processes, design workflows, draft business requirements and functional documentation, and align these to the technology roadmap are critical to the success of this role. Developing an in depth knowledge of the operations and supporting systems will lead to becoming the team's subject matter expert on the technology solutions that support and drive the organization.
The candidate should have the expectation of becoming the "super user" of the supported applications, being able to configure, support, and navigate through the respective platforms. The ability to train other users on the business critical applications throughout the various locations is also important in this role.
Prior experience is the design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment of large scale business applications is highly desirable. Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: CRM, ERP, MRP, ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning), inventory, warehouse management, logistics, transportation/shipping, process manufacturing, formula management, demand planning, order management, sales and marketing, financials (GL, AP, AR, PO, FA, TE, CM), business intelligence, transactional reporting.
Experience is one or more of the following technologies or similar platform is preferred, but not required: Oracle EBS, Sage ERP, Sage CRM, ServiceNow, Great Plains, Dynamics, OBIEE, OBIA, Noetix, Cognos. Familiarity with any of these applications in a plus: Signal Demand, Brill, EZ Automation, GL Wand, Salesforce, ADP, BlueCreek.
Programming experience is not required for this role, but the ability to speak to programmers on a technical level is required.
Candidates should be familiar with project management concepts, be able to independently manage technical projects, work with and/or manage outside vendors and consultants, and be able to manage resource allocations against a list of prioritized project tasks.
