Job Description A major Bank Holding Company located in New York City is looking Order Management Business Analyst Equities.
Responsibilities:
All aspects of business analysis including gap analysis, end-state design, requirements gathering, scope management,
Testing and deployment support
Ensuring solutions that are designed align with the strategic direction of the group
Creation of quality functional specifications and working with the developers in the creation of the technical specs
Development requirements and the use cases to support quality assurance and user acceptance testing
Acquire and provide subject matter expertise
Skills Required Education: Bachelors Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or Finance
3+ years experience working with traders, sales and operations functions
3+ years experience supporting trading floor initiatives as a BA/PM
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of sellside Order/Execution Management Systems working at a consulting firm, vendor application manager
Or a bulge bracket investment Bank
Knowledge of North American and international equities trading and settlement processes
Full Business Analysis development lifecycle experience, working with IT with proven delivery record and an ability
To work in a demanding environment. Experience of global project deliveries.
Capable of producing functional specifications that drive change cross functional plans.
Strong written, verbal, reasoning, analytical and inter-personals skills.
Experience with MS Visio, Project Excel, Word, SharePoint as well as testing (e.g. Quality Center) and knowledge
Sharing tools (e.g. Confluent wiki)
Experience with Process Modeling, Use Case Modeling and Logical Data Modeling
Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a very dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities
Clear written and verbal communication skills, appropriate to a given audience (technical, functional, etc.)
Salary Range This is a full time position for a Business Analyst and the salary will be based on experience.

Project Description:
Client has embarked upon a multi-year effort to implement the full suite of SAP functionality across all business segments and geographic regions, with a single Global Design. This individual will support the conversion of data from multiple legacy R/3 and non-SAP systems into SAP ECC 6.0 and New Dimension environments. He/she will be instrumental in the definition of requirements, development, testing and documenting of IBM Cognos reports used to verify legacy data migrated through the use of IBM DataStage ETL programs.
This position requires a broad technical knowledge of IBM Cognos report development and a demonstrated understanding of custom Cognos report and Framework development. He/she brings knowledge and experience integrating Cognos reports with Oracle Stored procedures, framework development, report development and QueryStudio.
Primary Responsibilities:
- He/She will work with Data Analysts to understand their data verification requirements and develop custom Cognos reports to support their requirements.
- He/She will work with onshore / offshore Cognos development resources to complete necessary development, documentation and testing based on a defined delivery date for completing the work.
- He/She will help to identify ways to provide operational reports / dashboards to provide an overall ''view'' of the data load execution status.
- He/She will work with the ETL team to diagnose issues / improve ''standard'' Cognos reports that leverage Oracle Stored procedures to return data for verification.
- He/She will work on documenting / testing standard Cognos reports to ensure that validation documents are achieved.
- He/She will help to facilitate the integration of IBM Cognos with HP Quality Center and MS SharePoint lists to provide a unified picture of data load execution.
Skills/Education Required:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related technical field
- Cognos Certifications: Documented IBM Cognos training / certification is required.
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of Cognos Report Writer, Framework, QueryStudio Technical Development experience. - Experience with Oracle Stored Procedure development / Cognos integration is a strong plus - Experience integrating Cognos with SharePoint is a plus
