Location: New Haven County
The Schegg Group is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance for a growing company in the food and beverage industry. This company has grown from four employees in 1998 to over 200 employees today, has moved to a state-of-the-art facility and continues to expand and grow its brand in the marketplace. This person will manage QA Technicians and Sanitation Program.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in creation, implementation, verification and validation of SQF, HACCP and QA related programs
* Auditing: Facility, QA Technician, Sanitation Program, Production practices
* Training: QA, Sanitation, GMP
* Oversee hold and release program
* Back up to Director on Recall Program
* Monitor Pest Control Provider audits, safety plans, and education of all supervisory personnel
Requirements:
* In depth knowledge required pertaining to Quality Assurance and Food Safety. Management experience required!
* Responsible for the management of all Quality & Food Safety related programs.
* This is a 1st shift position, however candidate should expect to be on call over the three shifts as needed.

Title: Safety Manager/EHS Specialist
Reports To: Director of HR

The Schegg Group is seeking a Safety Manager for a growing company in the food and beverage industry. This growth company has moved to a 40,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility and is working toward an eco-friendly and environmentally-driven business model. They need an experienced EHS Specialist to administer all safety-related compliance such as OSHA, Workers Compensation Administration, Department of Labor and other agencies.
Responsibilities:
* The manager will work closely will all departments within the company as well as external, governmental and non-governmental agencies and partners.
* Provide timely updates and administrative maintenance of all applicable files, reporting, etc.
* Must provide appropriate training to ensure all emp are aware and follow Maintain electronic and paper training rosters
* Conduct work area inspections
* Accompanies all safety, health, and insurance inspectors on walk-through inspections
* Assist in personal injury investigations
* Coordinate with insurance carriers: OSHA; DOL: Health & Safety Agencies
* Reinforce safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and improved morale

Our client, a global specialty adhesives manufacturer located in the Hartford area and active in the healthcare, electronics, and industrial markets, seeks a Sales Professional who will successfully manage existing industrial distribution accounts and expand the company's business in strategic vertical markets. Working with existing distributors to grow the company's core business, you will also be responsible for expanding our client's distribution, sales, and share in select underserved markets.
If you have at least five years' successful experience selling through distribution in a fast-paced market environment and seek an opportunity with outstanding earnings potential and career growth, this might be your opportunity.
Scope of Responsibility:
* Exceed order, revenue, and profit targets within assigned territory.
