Client: Global Investment Bank
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract (w-2 or corp)
Duration: 12+ mo
Status: Immediate phone/onsite interviews
Project Governance – Contribution and preparation for monthly steering boards, stream lead meetings etc.
Project Controls – financials, risk management, resource management
Responsible for project communications at all levels of the organization including with the CIO
Ensure all projects are delivered following a structured methodology, on time & on budget
ROLE INVOLVES:
Managing one or more projects within End User Services, Unified Communications
Interface with product management function who will feed requirements to engineering
Communication of project plan, progress and issues at senior levels of the organization
Project Governance – monthly steering boards, stream lead meetings etc.
Project Controls – financials, risk management, resource management
Planning control and coordination of engineering resources in the Americas, Switzerland, Poland
Interfacing with messaging operations teams around the globe and operations Directors
QUALIFICATIONS:
A track record in global project management.
10 years in complex infrastructure international programs in financial institutions
Knowledge of Microsoft Lync, Skype for Business or similar computer based telephony preferred
Knowledge of Compliance Media Recording technologies used in financial institutions preferred
Knowledge of networking technologies and experience, e.g. WAN/LAN, Network reconfigurations, Switch deployments - working with outstourced partners
Structured Project Management skills, Prince 2, PMI, etc
Strong Communication skills – oral and written
Excellent planning and analytical skills - task and financial ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
