Our client in Cheshire is looking for a Level II Technical Support
professional and a Senior Support Analyst (please see job descriptions
below).
Level II Technical Support Professional:
Overview
Our client is seeking a Level II Technical Support Professional who will
perform the following:
. Provide support for desktop and notebook computers, LAN and
equipment;
. Enforce IT Security SOPs;
. Support and troubleshoot Cisco VPN router and client software;
. Support Business Software including MS Office Suite, CRM,
Adobe, SAP
. Troubleshoot and support Avaya 8800 phone system and Modular
Messaging.
. Configure, administer and support Blackberry and iPhone and
remote data needs
. Directly participate in initiatives for deployment of new
software and hardware technologies.
This is a 6-month contract in Cheshire, CT
Skills and Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree
. 3-5 years of experience supporting medium to large client
environments.
. Must have direct experience working with senior level
employees.
. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
skills
. A+, MCP or MCSE certification preferred.
. Fluency in Spanish - both speaking and writing is a plus.
Senior Support Analyst:
Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Support Analyst who will perform the
following:
. Provide Level III desk side support for desktop and notebook
computers.
. Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests
received through the IT helpdesk.
. Support local area networking and equipment.
. Enforce and support IT Security and Operations SOPs
. Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software
licenses
. Support and troubleshoot Cisco VPN router and client software
. Support Business Software including MS Office Suite,
SalesForce CRM, Adobe professional suites, SAP client GUI, and assorted R&D
applications.
. Troubleshooting and support of Avaya phone system and Modular
Messaging.
. Support cellular and remote data needs for each employee.
. Blackberry, Android, and iPhone configuration and
administration along with detailed carrier knowledge to support wireless
needs.
. Direct participation in initiatives for deployment of new
software and hardware technologies.
. Provide desk side support and resolve problems to the end
user's satisfaction
. Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active
Directory
This is a 6-month contract in Cheshire, CT
Skills and Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree
. 6 - 9 Years of Experience
. Strong experience in customer service.
. Must have direct experience working with senior level
employees.
. Ability to work independently and to stay focused, efficient
and effective in managing multiple priorities under pressure.
. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
skills
. A+ or MCP certification preferred.
