Job Description A major Broker Dealer located in New York City is looking for a Developer-PepoleSoft.
Skills Required Must have the following:
SQR, People Code, on-ling developer, PeopleSoft recruiter, Payroll-North America, portal concepts and

Must have strong people skills.
Perfect person would have 2-5 years experience.

Project Manager - Contract - Danbury area

Ideal would be someone who has been a Project Manager at a digital ad agency. Second choice would be a Project Manager for a tech firm. Or perhaps someone who has been a Business Analyst at a tech firm.
Job Specs (located Danbury CT area, on-site position)
a) Coordinating efforts across various technical and business stakeholder groups (see stakeholder section below) to deliver digital marketing websites and related digital assets
c) Managing and prioritizing development workload for a limited development team across various, sometimes competing, marketing initiatives
d) Coordinating across various technical and business stakeholder groups to move new websites and enhancements from integration to staging to production environments as appropriate (and rollbacks as necessary)
e) Coordinating across various technical and business stakeholder groups to deploy digital marketing assets in support of field promotions as necessary
f) Coordination of the delivery the online components of relationship marketing (management) programs and testing across various stakeholder groups. RM programs include the ability for customers to sign-up for and receive electronically or via mail, vouchers, co-pay cards, enrollment in disease education programs, pamphlets, CD-ROMs, etc. Requires connectivity with back-end processes, and internal and external systems.
g) Escalation and communication of potential issues to the appropriate stakeholders for discussion and resolution
h) Estimating work effort and timing for new websites and enhancements
i) Resolve open technical issues on the marketing web platform
l) Setup and management of support request demand tracking
m) Attend and actively participate in business and technical discussion and meetings related to marketing technology support and environment
n) Minor enhancement requests
o) Weekly summary status and monthly demand summary

Duration is 3 Months with possibilty of extension. For a good resource there is the potential for a PERM opportunity. However, this is not guarunteed, only a possibilty.
Senior Portfolio Managers provide Project Management for small/medium/large projects or other projects as assigned. Small projects are defined as effort requiring less than 1,000 hours of effort from technology resources and/or less than 50K in capital expenditure Medium projects are defined as effort requiring 1,000 to 4,000 hours of effort from technology resources and/or expend $25 to 250K capital spend. Large projects or programs are defined as efforts requiring greater than 4,000 hours of effort from technology resources and/or expend greater than $250K capital spend.
Senior Portfolio Managers may also be assigned to programs having some cross workstream dependencies and complexities. Projects are defined as temporary endeavors undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result. Programs are defined as a group of related projects managed in a coordinated way to obtain benefits and control not available from managing them individually
Portfolio
⢠Provide Business constituents with coaching, expertise, to understand and participate in the Client Project Life Cycle
⢠Facilitate the documentation and approval of new project requests from assigned business partners
⢠Coordinate with their Program Director to Interface with business clients to understand their needs and secure appropriate project buy-in/sign-off
⢠Recommend functional solutions to business issues or competitive pressures
⢠Assist business clients with new ideas and/or new ways to implement the ideas
⢠Facilitate discussions and decision making for long-term forecasting and roadmap for product development
⢠Liaison between Technology Key Leaders and management to appropriately map technology solutions and planning
Project
⢠Provide Enterprise Project Management for projects or programs in accordance with the TDA Project Life Cycle
⢠Provide expertise, communicate and implement Project Life Cycle for:
o Timeline management
o Issue Resolution and escalation
o Communications & status reporting
o Knowledge
o Vendor Management
o Risk Management
o Stakeholder Management
o Resource Management
o Deliverable Management
o Scope Management
⢠Facilitate decision on final go/no-go decision
⢠Identify cross functional project resources and manage their deliverables
⢠Coordinate and lead project team meetings
⢠Communicate all project-related information (weekly status reports, participation in executive meetings, etc) to cross functional team
⢠Ensure completion of business requirements document where required
⢠Track progress and participate as necessary in business acceptance testing
⢠Identify, track and resolve project issues
⢠Ensure that projects are phased as needed
⢠Seek and review input from cross functional team and make final decisions regarding project scope
⢠Submit input about implementation details as needed to make strategic decisions
⢠Drive decision making to keep project on track and ultimately successful
Qualifications:
⢠Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
⢠Solid business knowledge as it relates to the brokerage industry, financial and capital markets
⢠Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required for interactions across organization
⢠Experience in presenting to senior management
⢠Minimum of 6 years relevant industry experience
⢠Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience with successfully running large, diverse cross-functional teams
⢠Advanced working knowledge of the Project Lifecycle with experience across all types of project (application development, packaged solutions, process improvement, infrastructure, etc.)
Advanced working knowledge or managing programs with experience in coaching and mentoring projects managers
Experience in facilitating large group meetings
⢠Experience in establishing project baselines and tracking to those baselines
⢠Bachelor degree in business, finance, or related field. MBA preferred.
⢠Advanced understanding of technical arena and understanding of system development
⢠Outstanding written and verbal communication, listening and analytical skills
⢠Willingness to understand and support changes within the organization.
⢠Ability to lead associates through change and uncertainty in a positive manner.
⢠Strong interpersonal skills
⢠Capable of handling multiple, complex tasks simultaneously
⢠Able to quickly assimilate and understand the systems utilized throughout the company
⢠Proficient MS Project Management and MS Office
* Must be availabe to work on site at TDA 5 days a week. No remote work possibility
3-5 years experience with successfully running diverse cross-functional teams
⢠3-5 years of experience in project managing diverse types of projects including process
⢠Minimum of 3-5 years relevant technology and/or financial services experience
⢠Minimum of 3-5 years Project Management experience
⢠PMP Preferred
⢠Series 7 (Registered Representative), and Series 63 or equivalent (State Securities Registration) , Series 24 (General Securities Principal) Series 4 (Registered Options Principal) a plus
* Financial Services experience in the Brokrage industry
Bachelor degree in business, finance, or related field.
