Our client in Raritan, NJ is seeking a Project Manager/PMO Metrics Analyst for a 12 month contract to be responsible for the design, build, implementation, and support metrics and reporting to enable the Network Portfolio PMO to effectively measure project progress. This role provides implementation and support of the underlying infrastructure and processes necessary to ensure accuracy of the metrics and reporting within the Network Workstream. The PMO Metrics Analyst is accountable for the quality and accuracy of reporting deliverables. The PMO Metrics Analyst will be expected to help manage the reporting work queue and have a keen understanding of priorities and milestones. RESPONSIBILITIES: - 50% - Metric and report implementation and support: Support and maintain ongoing executive, managerial, and operational reporting. Partner with stakeholders to analyze and understand metrics and reporting. Identification and creation of new reports. Technical implementation and ongoing maintenance/support of underlying infrastructure and processes where required. - 15% - Process Definition: Work with PMO project managers and process teams to develop integrated processes to support metrics and reporting to meet program needs in the areas of issues, risks, quality, work planning, time reporting, and program changes. This includes ongoing continuous process improvement efforts in these areas. - 15% - Requirements Definition and Quality Management: Work with the Network Workstream to collect requirements to support the processes as the program matures and evolves through its lifecycle. The analyst will have the responsibility to define both functional and technical requirements to facilitate design, development, testing, implementation and ongoing support. The analyst will ensure changes to existing and new reports are supported with robust test cases and subsequent testing. - 10% - Documentation: Processes, requirements, and standard operating procedures must be documented to facilitate communications with associated project sponsors, subject matter experts, development teams, support personnel, and effected users and customers. This will require use of the full Microsoft Office suite of products and other software for the design, development, testing, training and support of the project. - 10% - Project Management: While not directly responsible for the management of a project they will assist in the development of project plans, estimates, and timelines. REQUIREMENTS: 1. BA/BS preferably in engineering, business or computer science or equivalent experience 2. Knowledge of Project Management methodology, Microsoft Project 2007 and Microsoft Project Server, PM tools and processes 3. Experience creating executive-level dashboards. 4. Experience with creating SharePoint reports and forms 5. 3 + years of IT application administration and report building experience 6. Experience data mining and data interfacing 7. Experience creating design and training material documentation 8. Experience gathering and managing requirements 9. Experience managing stakeholder relationship/expectations 10. Knowledge of key performance indicators and reporting metrics 11. Knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) project management processes 12. Ability to analyze a system configuration and make design recommendations 13. Knowledge of reporting tools and SQL queries 14. Experience with data warehouse technology and concepts 15. Microsoft Excel advanced skills interfacing, creating pivot tables, charting, and Visual Basic 16. Proven technical competency with all of ITS's standard technologies 17. ITIL framework knowledge preferred 18.
