Barbara Butler, Director of the
Westport Department of Human Services,
has announced the return of the CTWorks
Career Coach at Westport Town Hall on
Thursday, Dec. 16. The Coach will be
offering a beginner's class in 2003 Microsoft
Powerpoint from 10 a.m. – noon, followed by an
intermediate class in 2003 Microsoft
Powerpoint from 1 – 3 p.m. Contact the
Westport Department of Human Services for
course description information.

The Career Coach is a "training
center" tour bus equipped with
10 wireless computer labs offering free
computer classes to residents in the greater
Norwalk area.

A one-stop career center on wheels, the
Career Coach is also equipped with fax
machines, phones, and other amenities
which can be used to assist community
residents in accessing services and
finding jobs.

The Career Coach operates on a monthly
schedule of visits to various community
locations. The mobile unit is
accessible to people with disabilities.

Butler hopes that by offering the
CTWorks Career Coach in the Westport

Title: Business Analyst (Peoplesoft HR / SAP HCM)

Location: Norwalk, CT

Duration: 3 Months

Overview

Our client is seeking an Business Analyst who will provide thought
leadership and direction to the planned HR Migration Strategy project from
PeopleSoft to SAP HCM to be used in North America, Latin America, and the
Caribbean and will help integrate this strategy into the overall HR
roadmap. The strategy project will determine best approach forward,
including timing and business case including costs and benefits for future
implementation, migration and operation.

PeopleSoft 8.9 is currently used for employee lifecycle data throughout the
NA, Latin America, and the Caribbean regions and for in-house payroll for
the US and Canada, which Oracle will end support in December 2012, at which
time they will need a major upgrade or a migration.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is someone who has worked on both Peoplesoft and SAP (HR
and/or HCM) implementation projects, preferably on migration from Peoplesoft
HR system to SAP HCM. Candidates must have excellent communication and
analytical skills and must demonstrate ability for strategic thinking and
planning.

This individual will play a broad role across traditional specialties of Finance, Strategy and Decision Support, be responsible for Brand A&P and Overhead budget of $30M and will help shape their overall trademark agenda and ensure that the appropriate issues are being addressed.
