Department Overview
Product Control Group IT (PCG IT) is a sub division of Finance IT and responsible for supporting the technological needs Of Product Control. As such new systems are developed and existing ones enhanced to meet a constantly evolving Set of requirements. The team"s portfolio of applications provides P&L reporting; reconciliations and various control Checks for PCG.
Main Function
To act as a development manager of PCG IT Defining and ensuring adherence to development standards Working with global development teams to agree on common standards Managing a small development team.
Main Duties
Take Ownership of the development standards for the PCG IT Americas region and work with other regional development Managers to agree on common standards.
Responsible for PCG IT compliance to development standards.
To ensure all development is under continuous integrations, has appropriate source control, NUnit testing and packaging.
To provide technical guidance to developers.
Review and update the curren Cruise Control standards and ensure continuous integration is used for all development within the The PCG Minor works and RAD development.
Review and update the current ClearCase / Perforce standards and ensure adherence by all developers.
Identify potential in development team members to delegate responsibility over time to build areas of technicalk excellence in C#, SQL server, CI, NUnit, Source control, Visual Studio and packaging.
Line management responsibility for a small team of developers.
Skills Required Qualification / Eduction Required
Degree level education with appropriate subsequent level of work experience or direct entry with equivalent level of work experience.
Experience Required
Proven experience of building SQL server C# applications.
Proven experience of defining and documenting development standards.
Proven experience of team leadership.
Salary Range This is a full time position for a Vice President and the salary is open and is based on experience.
