Title: Chief Administrative Officer
Reporting Structure: This role is a direct report to the Senior Minister with a "dotted line" reporting relationship to the Board of Trustees.
Work Schedule:
The role is a full-time position. The nature of the role and dynamic environment of the Congregation requires non-standard work hours and flexible work schedule. See below for examples of "off-hours" events and activities.
Overall Scope of the Role:
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) role is a leadership role within the New Canaan Congregational Church (Church). As a leadership role, the CAO must possess personality traits and consistently demonstrate behavior that foster the Church's vision and its aspirations to be a welcoming haven of peace. The CAO must be a positive presence with the Church employees, committee volunteers, and members.
The CAO shall be responsible for all business services of the Church including facilities management, financial management, human resource management, information technology, communications, and program administrative support oversight. The CAO will provide day-to-day leadership and direction in all aspects of Church operations, while coordinating and/or collaborating with ministerial and/or lay Church leadership including the Senior Minister, Moderator, Senior Deacons, Chairman of Buildings & Grounds, Chairman of Personnel and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
Specific Responsibilities:
Human Resource Management
* Manage full human resource cycle – recruit, hire, manage, develop, retire – of all non-ministerial staff.
* Participate in ministerial staff search processes.
* Coordinate and collaborate with the Personnel Committee on personnel policies, benefits, and disciplinary actions.
* Manage and participate in the annual performance review process of non-ministerial staff including setting of individual goals and objectives and personal development needs.
* Conduct mid-year reviews of goals and objectives of non-ministerial staff.
* Conduct annual Compensation review of non-ministerial staff, performance based including recommendations regarding market adjustments and/or performance based compensation adjustments.
Financial Management
* Develop long-term financial strategy including 5-year projections, capital improvement plans, investment alternatives.
* Develop annual operating and capital plans based on program and operations models.
* Manage and report annual financial plans including providing monthly financial reporting and forecasting, cash flow management, capital spending and expenditures review and approval.
* Work with Trustees, Stewardship committee on annual stewardship campaign; provide leadership for and actively participating in fundraising activities, and donor development.
* Oversee annual audit process.
* Maintain Memorial Garden records.
* Oversee services contracts and providers as well as suppliers to ensure optimization of cost and service balance.
Facilities Management
* Develop, in collaboration with Buildings and Grounds (B&G) Committee, a long-range and annual capital improvement plan for Church properties and grounds.
* Coordinate and collaborate with Chairman of B&G committee on maintenance and improvements of properties and grounds. Manage and administer all property use agreements with external groups (e.g., AA, Toddler Time, Boy Scouts).
* Ensure that day-to-day operations of facilities meet the needs of Church Programs and are maintained at agreed upon service levels.
Information Technology
* Develop and maintain a 3 to 5-year technology plan for the Church environment.
* Manage and administer technology service contract(s) and provider(s) including server, email, desktop/laptop support, photocopy and facsimile equipment, printer, network support, telecommunications for voice and data, mobile devices, antivirus/spam services, data backup and recovery
* Oversee acquisition, leasing and disposal of technology equipment and supplies.
* Manage church AV system and coordinate upgrades, maintenance including Apple Mac equipment and backup processes.
* Manage web hosting contract provider.
Communications
* Oversee all Church communications including weekly bulletin, monthly news letter, weekly email blasts.
* Manage web site content creation and upkeep.
* Manage all-Church correspondence mailings.
* Coordinate with committees on annual report development and annual meeting.
* Develop and execute annual publicity plan, advertising, etc.
* Protect, maintain and enhance the Church brand.
Program Administration Support
* Maintain master calendar for church programs and events.
* Liaison with other Church Committees, as necessary.
* Attend monthly Committee and Church Council meetings, as necessary.
* Work with Nominating Committee on selection of new committee members each year.
* Work with Special Committees on special all-church events.
* Coordinate/attend all major church events to ensure successful execution.
* Attend weekly church leadership meeting with Senior Minister, Church Moderator, Chair of Trustees, Senior Deacon and Chair of Personnel.
Skill & Experience
A successful candidate for the CAO role shall demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Demonstrate capacity to lead, manage, motivate and inspire the Church's team.
* Possess strong budgeting and financial management skills.
* Sound verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
* Basic work productively skills – proficient in personal computer tools – calendar, email, internet search, document processing. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools a must.
* Good personal interaction skills.
* Demonstrate a strong work ethic, stamina and passion.
* Experience in a non-profit management/leadership position is desirable but not required.
* Experience in marketing, communications, and public relations activities is desirable but not required.
* Have completed at least 10 years in a supervisory position of at least 5 people.
Administrator off hours meetings/events:
Weekly: Friday morning group meeting, 6:30am
First Monday of the month: Trustees meeting, 7:30pm
Second Monday of the month: Church Council, 7:30pm

Position Overview:
The Senior Manager provides business development and marketing services to generate new business for its NYC Business Solutions, Lower Manhattan Center (LMC) located in the Financial District. The Account Manager will serve as a relationship manager and primary point of contact between the business customer and the LMC. THE OPPORTUNITY:

Qualifications

Equal consideration will be given both to analysts who are currently generalists and to those who specialize by distinct strategies.
• An undergraduate degree from a top- tier educational institution is required, preferably in business, computer science, economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, physics, statistics, or a related field, although consideration will be given to applicants with liberal arts degrees.
• A graduate degree(s) in one of the aforementioned fields is strongly preferred and a CFA designation, or progress towards the CFA designation, would be highly beneficial.
• Strong quantitative and modeling skills and experience are required. A demonstrated ability to interpret statistics such as returns (measured over different time periods and market conditions), risk measurements and correlations is essential.
• Possess and be able to demonstrate sophisticated risk evaluation and mitigation skills.

2 Contract Sr. Software Engineers in King of Prussia PA

We
currently have 2 contract to hire or straight contract opportunities for Sr.
Software Engineers. A minimum of 3 years experience with Sterling
implementations is required. This experience must be full
lifecycle. In addition, this person will be implementing 9.0, which just
came out (with some help from Sterling consultants on the technical
side). Version 8.5 is highly preferred. A good solutions
architect who has solved business issues with Sterling, in a functional
capacity, is ideal. Some technical experience with good functional
experience is good. Strictly technical candidates will not be
considered.
Responsibilities:
The Sterling OMS SSE (Senior
Software Engineer) will be responsible for providing functional and/or
technical expertise and direction for the Sterling (formally known as Yantra)
OMS (Order Management System). An ideal candidate should have an expert
functional and/or technical knowledge of one or more of the following Sterling
modules: Sterling Distributed Order Management, Sterling Selling &
Fulfillment Foundation, Sterling Global Inventory Visibility, Sterling Reverse
Logistics, and Sterling Supply Collaboration. The candidate should have
experience working in the retail industry and in e-Commerce. He/she will
be responsible for defining or advising on Sterling OMS technical architecture
to meet business requirements for the Sterling OMS and related enterprise
systems. Through excellent verbal and written communication skills and
the ability to translate between technical and business language, the candidate
will work collaboratively with various project stakeholders, negotiating
functional and technical requirements across various groups. You will
play a key role in developing the future Sterling OMS solution architecture to
ensure a long-term business alignment.
Qualifications:
Extended responsibilities
include:
* Expert knowledge of Sterling Order Management System components, API's, and related Interfaces
* Understand and advise on business processes that pertain to the Sterling OMS
* Utilize functional expertise to facilitate the collection of business requirements
* Help define or advise on Sterling OMS technical architecture to meet business requirements for the Sterling OMS and related enterprise systems (e.g., webstore, CRM, DW/BI, etc.)
* Design, develop, and implement highest-quality software application solutions using Sterling OMS modules
* Provide functional and/or technical leadership to extended project teams – company employees and Sterling Commerce consultants
* Mentor company staff as appropriate
* Help define or assist with developing Sterling OMS implementation best practices
* Lead or guide teams to execute optimum performance tests and tuning to meet SLA objectives
* Help define or create integration and QA test scripts
* Help analyze, troubleshoot, and/or tune Sterling Commerce product performance or deployment issues when required
* Participate in projects and provide cross-functional IT application support coordination on issues & design planning
* Assist with risk management and change management
* Work independently with minimal direction
* Help develop and propose Sterling OMS-centric processes, policies, and standards
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Computer Science/MIS, Engineering or related field
* Deep functional and/or technical expertise with one or more of the following Sterling modules (3+ years): Sterling Distributed Order Management, Sterling Selling & Fulfillment Foundation, Sterling Global Inventory Visibility, Sterling Reverse Logistics, and Sterling Supply Collaboration
* Full project lifecycle experience on several large, complex Sterling solution implementations
* Strong understanding of software engineering principles, tools, and processes
* Ability to lead and mentor other developers
* Strong track record of proposing solution to Business related opportunities and issues
* Experience working with Order Management, Shipping, Advance Pricing, Inventory, Purchasing, Financials, and/or Cost Management business processes
* Good knowledge of project management fundamentals and experience running small to mid-size projects
* Must possess understanding of business processes and ability to solve complex problems
* Critical thinker and demonstrated ability to mitigate project risks
* Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, reporting and presentation skills
* Ability to interface and work with varying levels of the organization, from users to management, in a highly interactive culture
* Strong business acumen and working knowledge of functional and procedural process modeling methodologies
* Self-starter with initiative and the ability to manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction
* Ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent projects
* Strong customer interaction, organizational and time-management skills
Desirable Skills and
Experience:
* e-Commerce and Retail application experience
* Fulfillment or 3PL experience
* Deep Java/J2EE programming/environment knowledge
* Experience implementing J2EE design patterns
* Strong SOA development/implementation experience
* Strong Oracle or DB2 database experience
* Security, Key Management, Encryption/Decryption, and PCI Compliance experience a big plus
* PMI Project Management Certification
