Reporting to the VP of Operations the Quality Manager will plan, coordinate
and direct the activities of the total quality management program to ensure
the production of consistent, reliable products that meet or exceed
established standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain complete responsibility for quality management function for the
manufacture of a broad range of stamped, welded, machined, and molded
assemblies to a 100% on time schedule and rigid quality
requirements (including PDA level requirements).
Provide the technical skill base to maintain organization's ISO
certification.
Work with customers on an ongoing basis, responding to inquiries, rapidly
identifying and correcting root causes of their problems.
Participate in Supplier Rating Programs.
Insure that customers' high external standards are met or exceeded in the
company's products.
Identify key material variables within the manufacturing process and focus
quality efforts on control of these variables.
Insure that quality control guidelines are continuously and effectively
integrated into the manufacturing process so as to maintain production
schedules and reduce cycle times.
Provide oversight to the quality control function continuing a drive to
testing on the production floor and in all relevant departments.
Supervise the activities of all individuals involved in the quality function
within the Connecticut Operation.
Analyze problem areas, develop cost-effective, complete solutions, and
insure the full implementation of corrective actions.
Support flexibility of manufacturing processes but insure that quality
system standards are not sacrificed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong background in ISO9000 system management, including training and
auditing and in ISO 13485 system management and thorough knowledge of PDA
requirements.
Solid background quality engineering, lean manufacturing, metrology, GD&T.
Knowledge of automated inspection equipment including vision systems and
coordinate measuring devices is a MUST.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to present
ideas, results and requirements effectively throughout the organization and
to the customer on a timely basis.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree, preferably BS, BSE, BSME, with a minimum of 8 years
experience in quality engineering or quality management in metal stamping,
injection molding, medical device or related industry, OR an equivalent
level of both background and experience.
Certified Quality Engineer, Manager or Auditor. Preferably Six Sigma Green
or Black Belt.
Demonstrated project management skills in the areas of process control, SPC,
automotive PPAP submission and statistical analysis.
Actively continuing training through, courses and seminars.

Requirements

The Senior Auditor position is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a
dynamic audit professional who seeks to build on their existing Accounting
and Audit experience through in-depth exposure in fast-paced business
environment. The Internal Audit department is developmental in nature and
employees are assisted in furthering career goals through placement into
business segment roles. The role of the Senior Auditor will be to execute
SOX 404 review and testing and communicate testing results to management.
This position will be accountable for assisting in control design
assessment, as well as executing testing of key internal controls identified
to ensure the accuracy of the financial statements. As a Senior Auditor, you
will also perform reviews of critical business processes, evaluating the
effectiveness of internal controls and identifying potential process
improvement opportunities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Timely testing and evaluation of the SOX 404 key controls including
maintaining effective tracking and monitoring of deficiencies including
thorough documentation of SOX testing with consistent quality.
- Assess and evaluate deficiencies in accordance with PCOAB guidelines.
- Conduct financial statement reviews.
- Execute integrated audits that consider financial, operational,
compliance, and technology risks.
- Evaluate results, synthesize audit findings, draft audit reports, and
ensure effective and efficient audit execution.
- Follow-up with management to ensure management action plans are remediated
effectively and timely.
- Update and enhance internal controls through process and procedure
improvement recommendations.
- Assist in completion of ad-hoc projects.

Summary:
The Manager of IT Risk Enterprise Security Services is responsible for
developing and implementing comprehensive Security services and controls
into the IT Enterprise Infrastructure (EI). This leader will build a team of
partner services from in and outside the company to ensure that the proper
IT Security policies and standards are effectively operating in the
Enterprise Infrastructure.
The incumbent will be charged with delivering consistent risk methodologies
as part of the overall EI project life cycle and will partner with the EI
Senior leadership and sit on the Dir of EI staff as a representative of IT
Security. Under the Manager's leadership the team will act as trusted
advisors in promoting security computing services and technologies are
adopted into the long term planning for EI. He/She will work with EI staff
to ensure effective controls are in place to ensure proper compliance to all
appropriate regulations. This group will act as the primary bridge interface
between IT Security and the extensive reach of Enterprise IT.
The Manager will also provide effective guidance on EI investment direction
given new threats/risk and the necessary controls necessary to ensure
effective business growth and compliance. Additionally, he/she will provide
reports to the CISO for senior management and the business leadership to
ensure alignment of business objectives and IT Security requirements to
meet IT Security standards and objectives. These efforts will protect ITT's
assets, provide recommendations to close IT security gaps, and implement
best practice policy and procedures aimed at maintaining the integrity and
confidentiality of ITT's data.
Minimum Qualifications
. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or IT Security related area.
. 7+ years of experience in Information Technology specifically
within IT Security & Risk Management
. 5+ Years of IT or Technical Management related to IT
Infrastructure technologies
. Certified in one or more key IT Security disciplines (ie.,
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CISM, CGEIT)
preferred
. 5 + years (strong) experience in Defense and Commercial market
segments
. Skilled experience with IT Security Standards and Framework Models
(ISF, ISO etc)
. Experienced with IT Security Risk analysis
. Experienced with regulatory and compliance domains in US and
globally
. Experience with Internal and External Audit functions
. Effective leadership and management in managing a dispersed staff
function
. Familiar with Security Framework and Metrics reporting on key
Security indicators
. Experienced working with Business Continuity functions and IT
functions
