Cost Accountant
Location: Somerset County, NJ
Assists Plant Controller in providing Financial and Business management support to:
1) the Plant Facility, 2) NAFTA Regional Finance Management, and 3) Corporate
Headquarters. Assist Plant Controller in monthly closing process, including but not
limited to Journal Voucher preparation including supporting schedules, Account
analysis (inventory and SG&A), Work Order variance analysis, material consumption,
and labor utilization. Monthly Operations Reporting (MO Reporting), Annual
Departmental Budget Preparation, including detailed Standard Cost of some 4,000+
SKU's (ABC codes).
Perform month - end closing activities and variance analysis
Prepare monthly operations reporting package (MO report) for Plant Facility and HQ
Operations Management
Annual (detailed) departmental budgeting - leading up to and including OPEX input
(for SAP).
Establish, review and reconcile product standard cost annually.
Wall to Wall Physical Inventory (at least twice annually), and daily involvement
in SAP transactional "errors" by production operators, material handlers, and
supervisors.
"All other" Plant Facility Controlling activities, (including but not limited to)
assisting with accounts payable for raw materials, routine purchasing interface,
cost allocations, provide guidance to Cost Accountant, Cost Price Overview, General
Ledger account analysis, Capital expenditure review.
Ad hoc projects.
The ability to prioritize and work with firm deadlines is critical to this
position's success. Opportunity for growth exists - primarily in methodology
relating to product costing mix and better understanding the cost per sqm and
recommend opportunities to enhance.
Will develop and present analysis and be involved in discussions (e.g.
manufacturing processes and related product costs) that will facilitate appropriate
decision making at the plant, and regional levels. Will assist in revamping existing
cost models - currently in use to perform monthly operations managerial reporting.
Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting, concentration in Cost Accounting (min 6 credits).
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in both a general
accounting and manufacturing operations accounting environment.
Requires business experience in areas of General Accounting, and Standard Cost
Accounting, departmental budgeting, physical inventory knowledge and experience,
ability to perform clerical as well as managerial accounting duties. Reasonable
communication skills (written as well as oral). Computer Systems knowledge -
including structure set-up (SAP preferable). Strong Excel.
Other Requirements & Working Conditions:
Office (and Plant) environment. Limited in-state travel. Routine (daily) contact
with Production Supervisory personnel, Material Handling personnel, Planning
personnel, Purchasing personnel. Must be able to work with people and promote a true
"team" atmosphere. Must be able to perform mundane clerical as well as detailed
managerial analysis. Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.

JPMC is looking to augment an already existing team of 3 developers with one
additional Core Java developer. This team is responsible for building a high
performance, low latency messaging system that will contribute to the build
out of a Single Security Calculator for their Mortgage Backed Securities
Analytics Services group. It is crucial that this developer have a strong
background in high performance messaging systems such as JMS, Tibco, MQ
Series, or an equivalent. XML alone will not be sufficient. Core Java is
also a must, as well as having experience building low latency/high
performance systems. Ideally this candidate will have a minimum of 5 years
experience and a maximum of 15, although 10 years is the sweet spot. This is
a mid-senior level position that can go either associate or VP, and the
compensation is completely dependant on the candidate's compensation
history.

Requirements:
Background
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related
discipline
- 5+ years of hands on experience developing, maintaining, deploying,
and supporting applications

Commercial knowledge
- Working knowledge of Fixed income or Equity products and analytics;

Our client is seeking an experienced Hyperion Techno-Functional Professional
to manage and take ownership of the company's Financial Planning and
