The *Greater Lawrence Family Health Center* (GLFHC) is the largest
stand-alone Federally Qualified Health Center in MA. GLFHC provides
award-winning primary care and support services to more than 45,000 patients
at four clinics. GLFHC operates:
- School-Based Health Centers in two high schools
- A pharmacy at each of four clinical sites
- A mammography unit in their Women's Imaging Center

The *Chief Human Resource Officer* (CHRO) will report to the CEO and be part
a committed senior management team.* *This is an opportunity to turn around

has responsibility and accountability for providing the leadership and
direction for all Human Resources activities. Specific responsibilities
include:
- Providing the leadership and direction for Human Resources within GLFHC
including development, planning and implementation of HR programs and
policies.
- Developing effective communication programs to ensure employee
comprehension of policies, programs, and plan documents.
- Developing and implementing both direct and indirect compensation
programs which are competitive, cost effective, and designed to attract,
retain and motivate employees.
- Directing, formulating, recommending, implementing and administering
human resource policies, programs, procedures and objectives.
- Planning and implementing broad recruiting programs for all levels of
personnel.

administration, union avoidance, workers' compensation, and unemployment
compensation.
- Counseling and guiding management on all HR-related matters.

- Identifying management training needs at all levels, and

needs.

The right candidate will possess a strong generalist track record in Human
Resources leadership in a highly diverse, multicultural setting. Ideally
this will be in a service setting in which the employee base largely comes
from the same community as the customer/patient base. Familiarity with
immigration issues is a big plus, as is being bilingual (Spanish is ideal).
Bachelors is required, Masters desirable. The new CHRO must have
exceptional people skills and:

The candidate will be a hands on developer manager with responsibilities including but not limited to organization and project management, staff development in addition to hand on software development activities. The candidate will lead process improvement I automation projects from business process analysis through to implementation of the application or system. The candidate will support the biotechnology research areas in the design and development of scientific applications. Hands on participation and execution throughout the software development lifecycle, including: architecture, design, implementation, testing and maintenance of scientific business applications. The candidate will be responsible for new and existing systems.
