The Global Intranet Services team is responsible for AIG's portal
strategy and oversees AIG's primary internal online communications
platform. The team works with AIG's businesses and corporate functions
worldwide to streamline digital projects and to ensure consistency in
user experience, functionality, and online communications.
Job Description:
The Global Intranet Services team is looking for a motivated Project
Manager to track and report on operations and key projects.
Detailed Responsibilities:
• Dashboards: Maintain and update operations as well as program
dashboards and key performance indicators.
• Financial Dashboard: Track program charges, recoveries, expenses, and
benefits projections/
• Status Reporting: Follow up with managers and project leads on a
weekly basis to provide Digital Communications management a weekly
status report of project portfolio.
• Presentations: Prepare presentation materials for steering, governance
and working committee meetings.
Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of project management experience managing high visibility
projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor's degree
• PMP Certification a plus
• Prior experience with web or intranet-related projects
• Prior experience with SharePoint
• Self motivated
• Excellent organizational Skills
• Logical thinker
• Delivery focused
• Confident
• Solid process and project management skills are required, including
the ability to manage numerous priorities simultaneously while
maintaining a sense of urgency, as is an ability to operate effectively
in an unstructured environment.
• Financial and analytical skills are required, as is the ability to
communicate effectively in international cultures, both in writing and
verbally.
• Experience redesigning business processes in large organizations,
preferably complex and global
• Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a
cross-departmental team.
• Excellent time management, client management and communication skills.
• Must have experience with the following programs: Microsoft Office
Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Project/Visio.

Hadoop Administrator
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19103
Candidates can be hired off a phone/Skype interview, but candidates must
physically work in the Philadelphia location.
Description: Our client is setting up their Hadoop environment. They
are looking for knowledgeable people, who have worked with Hadoop in an
enterprise environment that can bring their expertise to this project.
They will be workign with about a 100 node Hadoop cluster.
Skills:
- Open to candidates that have worked on any flavor of Hadoop.
- Candidates must have experience in multiple aspects of big data
- Must have experience with installation, monitoring, managing, trouble
shooting, applying patches, and acting as all tiers of support for
Hadoop clusters.
- Strong knowledge on Hadoop Cluster architecture and monitoring the
cluster.
