Here is what we have:
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in an enterprise infrastructure engineering role with primary ownership of the design, implementation, and deployment of hybrid environments ( Li nux & Windows).
Familiarity with TCP/IP networking protocols is a must.
Experience in Unix/ Li nux Systems Administration with strong Li nux/Unix troubleshooting and command line skills.
Experience with Windows server based technologies and implementation is a must.
Understanding of change management and problem management practices
Strong scripting to programming skill set in Window and Li nux/Unix (batch, bash, perl, python, vbscript, C# , Java)
Knowledgeable at administrating switches, routers, and firewalls.
Expert level experience installing, configuring, and managing multiple software applications (e.g., OS, virus software, performance monitoring applications, etc.) within an enterprise server environment
Knowledge of VMWare ESXI.
Knowledge of and experience with Li nux based open source technologies is a plus. Knowledge of kernel bypass network stacks is a plus.
Strong verbal communication skills. Superior written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines.
Must have demonstrated problem solving skills. Must be able to work independently. Organized, independent and self-motivated.
The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and troubleshoot problems proactively. The incumbent will have a solid understanding of, and operational experience with operating system internals, including paging and swapping, inter-process communication, devices and device drivers, file systems, etc. |
