Job Title: Technical Project manager
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6 Months+ contract
Bill Rate: 50/hr on W2, 55/hr C2C some flex
Summary
Client is currently seeking a Technical Project manager to lead an IT project. This position will be based in the headquarters in Philadelphia, PA, and will be working under the direction of the Manager of IT.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with as a technical project manager in IT.
- Experience installing or supporting retail Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- General knowledge of wide area networks and TCP/IP routing concepts
DESCRIPTION:
The Technical Project Manager’s overall responsibilities include understanding project requirements, developing project plans, assigning and tracking tasks, assessing and managing project risks, running project meetings, and communicating status with all stakeholders. The position will work closely with stakeholders across functional areas as well as with clients and third party implementation partners.
Project responsibilities encompass all aspects of a project form the coordination and planning stage through execution and completion.
Tasks:
- Creates and manages work breakdown structure (WBS) and scheduled project plan for POS data integrations.
- Develops critical path analysis for project implementation.
- Manage project scope, timeline, issues, and risk.
- Own, document and continually refine the process for resolution of technical support issues from initiation through escalation and resolution.
Additional consideration will be given to those candidates who possess one or more of the following:
- Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) systems such as Micros or Sharp
- Network architecture and infrastructure
- Data-Warehousing / ETL
