Project Title (CONTRACTOR)
Position Overview:
This position will lead and support various Portfolio related activities across the Pharm R&D Portfolio. Primary responsibilities for this role will focus on the R&D Governance Model and the Portfolio. The Governance Model consists of a Committee which includes a joint partnership between the R&D Business and the IT Organization. This committee is responsible for assessing and determining the portfolio of investments for the IT organization. Additionally, this role will provide support to various portfolio related activities related to the Portfolio. The scope of âportfolioâ may be applied to all IT investments, financials, resources, including IT assets and labor resources.
Primary Duties:
Lead activities related to R&D Portfolio Governance Process (70)
Handle all day-to-day coordination for generating Meeting materials pre/post meetings
Work with various levels of Leadership and their teams to collect, review and communicate progress
Collaborate with Finance to ensure alignment between Portfolio tool and their data
Update SharePoint site status and slides pre/post meeting
Generate meeting materials (agenda, process slides, etc.)
Develop, analyze and maintain portfolio dashboard
Manage Meeting follow-ups
Assist with PMO related activities (30%)
Facilitate project & resource planning and management processes that includes macro level resource estimation. Mature IS/AS Investment planning and 90 Day Capacity process
Ensures the completeness and accuracy of portfolio data with project managers and other stakeholders, including Senior Management.
Maintain formal improvement plans for portfolio activities (i.e.Track and respond to VP requests, recommend continuous improvement opportunities)
Drive awareness of information on IT assets and create transparency to key cost drivers.
Drive Total Cost of Ownership awareness for Business Critical Applications & establish framework for non-critical apps and services.
Analyze and develop presentations for portfolio governance processes and reviews.
Provide education and support for the portfolio related data and processes.
Collaborate with peers to develop and execute portfolio and capacity planning processes within Pharm and across the sectors. Continually strive to improve and evolve processes and develop organizational competencies in project planning and execution, resource management and benefit realization.
Qualifications
Education: BS/BA degree is required
Experience/Qualific
The successful candidate must possess a Bachelorâs degree (Business or Computer Science preferred).
A minimum of 8-10 years progressive IT work experience is required.
Strong end-to-end process development/ management
Ability to think strategically and work independently is a must. Work through ambiguity.
Must be highly analytical with a focus on business results. Ability to analyze data, translate into meaningful dashboards/metrics for executive audiences
Must be a results-driven with ability to effectively execute a variety of activities concurrently in a rapid manner across local and global organizations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
Strong knowledge of portfolio management methodologies and tools, including project selection methods, prioritization processes, and models to support portfolio decision making.
Coordinate across functional groups
Create process documentation and reporting
Strong knowledge of program and project management processes and financial processes are required.
Strong technical acumen and leadership.
Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills and the ability to influence without authority are required.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

This person will be part of the PMO team supporting Risk, therefore demonstrable PMO experience and hands-on experience leading PMO deliverables is required.
Executive Statusing and communication related to large IT efforts is a required skill.
Ability to understand, dissect and create views of complex technical programs with numerous stakeholders and dependencies required.
The Risk PM will report directly to the PMO Head and Portfolio Manager for Enterprise Risk who is responsible for overall health of Risk IT programs.
PM will also be responsible for managing the portfolio management system for the projects/programs under his/her purview.
This role will ensure accurate program plans are in place and milestones are monitored.
Required Skills:
- Project Management in a financial services environment is required experience.
- Advanced Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Project are must-have skills.
- Expert diligence in tracking and reporting required, as is ability to create and regularly produce polished executive level reports and presentations for complex projects with limited supervision.
- Ability to create and maintain complex project and program plans is required.
- Financial services experience in Enterprise Risk or Finance is required.
- Experience in Commercial Bank, Private Bank and/or Consumer Banking desired.
- Must possess ability to multi-task and have excellent attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Regulatory experience preferred, relative to an IT implementation (Basel, Dodd-Frank, etc.).
- PMP is Preferred.
