Senior Formulations Scientist
Well established manufacturer of biological pharmaceuticals is seeking a
Sr. Formulations Scientist to develop formulations that ensure the stability
of biological molecules. Will study the chemical stability of proteins in
relation to excipient and storage conditions and develop final drug dosage
forms. Will develop and characterize stable parenteral formulations for
preclinical and early clinical studies as well as writing and reviewing
appropriate technical SOPs for use both internal and CMO and/or CROs
Communication. Experience in developing formulations of small molecules for
parenteral administration in both pre-clinical and clinical studies with
good understanding of excipient selection and limitations of use and 5 years
of pharmaceutical industry formulations experience in formulation
development for both liquid and solid dosage forms is required. PhD

responsibilities which include establishing and executing programs covering
all phases of validation for all products, equipment, and processes;
developing process, equipment and cleaning protocols for formulation,
labeling, etc for all products, including all support systems; overseeing
and coordinating validation activities; and collecting, and analyzing
validation data and preparing validation reports. Midwest $45,000 - $70,000
General Manager - Consumer Healthcare products
A leading manufacturer and distributor of consumer health and wellness
products is seeking an experienced Business Unit Manager/General Manager for
the consumer Diagnostics Category. Will be responsible for managing the
product category by increasing product offerings and retail customer
distribution points and executing a sales strategy to support Blood Pressure
Monitors, Thermometers and other diagnostic products. Oversee the product
development process from concept through launch and work with Quality
Systems to ensure FDA requirements and regulations; Industrial Design to
create visually striking and distinctively functioning products;
Engineering; Creative Services to develop attractive packaging,
merchandising and support material; Marketing; eCommerce to leverage
direct-to-consumer online marketing and sales opportunities. Supervise the
development and execution of product line management, packaging and
merchandising, identifying/launching new products, market research and
business analysis, studies of relevant competitive products, consumer
positioning, retail channel opportunities and growth plans, sales promotion
and pricing. Minimum of 10 years experience in the consumer products
