Job Title: Project Manager (Application and Data) - I (Business Analyst/Project Management Roles) Location: PISCATAWAY, NJ Duration: 6 months Job Description: Title: Project Manager (Application and Data) - I (Business Analyst/Project Management Roles) Description: `Work Location (OpCo, City, State):HCS, Piscataway, NJ Start Date of Assignment: 03/21/2011 End Date of Assignment/Project Duration: 09/02/2011 Job Description: The resource should have: Data Migration, Compliance Documentation and Review Strong Project Management Skills 1)Some prior experience for cutovers for relatively complex (ERP like) projects. 2)Must be a strong leader (will need to forcefully deal with about 20 people for deliverables and be extremely persistent in doing so). 3)Will require detail micro planning and rigorous adherence to it. (Good organization, planning and administrative skills.) 4)Work ethic – as you near the actual cutover those activities can consume more time 5)Communication – must speak clearly, concisely and forcefully. 6)Coordinate with various teams involved in the JCP data migration. Work with Integration team, team and JCP DM team to ensure successful completion of work, and report on ongoing progress. 7)Interact with Integration team for data load for master/core data such as Product, Product Images and Links, Catalog, Sales Territory, and Customer data. 8)Co-ordinate with Team to ensure data migration objects are loaded in to JCP application tables. 9)Create and manage data migration project plan and ensure it is aligned with master project plan. 10)Ensure data migration documentation are created and reviewed/approved as per compliance team requirements. 11)Provide data migration support during formal system testing and UAT. Create and communicate test results summary report. 12)Ensure detailed activity required for production cutover are documented and planned/monitored in production cutover project plan. 13)Co-ordinate and plan production cut-over activities by engaging various team involved during production cutover. 14)Communicate status, progress, issues, and risk to the project team on regular basis.
